I have been teaching at VCPS for 13 years. I absolutely love the Montessori Approach to teaching. I received my Montessori Certificate in 2012. They say if you choose a job you love you will never have to work a day in your life and I’m proof of that!

Rosana Perez

Assistant Teacher | Room 115

I have just finished receiving my 12 ECE units in child development, and am in the process of working towards my AA degree in teaching. I have always loved being around children. As the mom of 3 kids, I value their education and see teaching as a gift to share. I receive great joy out of watching children explore and learn as their world grows around them.

Tami O Ocnnell

I have worked in a variety of preschools schools since 1984. I received my Montessori Certificate in 1993 and since then have firmly believed in the principals and foundation a good Montessori curriculum provides. As a hobby I love to act on stage and love bringing that aspect of my personality into the classroom.

Assistant Teacher | Room 114

I am currently taking classes at Mira Costa College to earn a degree in Child Development. I am very involved in my church’s Sunday school program. Working at a Christian Montessori has opened my eyes to seeing children as God sees them and helping them to grow in who they are created to be.
